Your commute is shared with walkers, buses, and two-wheelers. Calm signal discipline and clear crossings make the city safer - and the Notebook makes broken streets visible when infrastructure fails.
Why it matters
Signal jumps, blocked zebras, and FOBs used as parking steal time from buses and dignity from pedestrians. Small habits compound at every junction - and photo reports help wards see where the street itself is broken.
On the road
- Stop at red; no mid-junction cuts or wrong-side dashes.
- Yield to pedestrians at zebras; don’t block FOB approaches.
- Slow near schools and markets; skip horn rage.
- Leave space for buses at stops; don’t park on footpaths.

Surfaces, crossings, FOBs, drains that flood the carriageway. Broken infrastructure is a civic report, not only a driving tip.

When the street is broken
Potholes, missing footpaths, or waterlogged approaches are civic infrastructure - not only driver error. Use Contribute → Report with a photo (categories: Bad road, Footpath, or related), add who it affects, and share on X so the ward ledger can see it. SLE on the Execution deck is an expectation for follow-through - not a legal deadline.
